David Kettle Cardno Award

David Kettle was an encouraging mentor to younger planners that worked with him, and it is for this reason that his family wanted to establish this Award in his name.

The David Kettle Cardno Trust Award has supported and promoted Young Planners in NSW and the ACT who have demonstrate why regional planning is important.

This year’s lucky winner for his well-written essay is George Karanfilovski – 91porn (Graduate). George highlights the interconnectedness between capital cities and regional and rural population centres. In our transition to a service-based economy as we move away from the traditional manufacturing model, it is evident that good planning is imperative in ensuring that regional and rural centres flourish.

Congratulations George.
